LOOT, or the, is a newer version of the same program.

While both are viable tools, LOOT's databases are updated a bit more regularly.Regardless of which program you decide to use, an optimized load order is a must for anyone attempting to improve their game with mods.ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated This addon eliminates the need for FO3's Archive Invalidation file, and allows mods such as Project Reality and Fallout 3 Redesigned to function properly when installed.

Download and install it.Install Order Depending on which mods you choose to install, the order in which you add them to your game files is equally important as your load order.Ĭheck out a few sample screenshots from our current FO3 setup here:Below you will find our install order for all the mods we're currently using on our latest playthrough of Fallout 3. Now that you have FOSE downloaded, it is time to install it. I just unzip it into my downloads folder. Then you should see a folder called fosev12beta2. Please note that the title of the folder may be different if your looking at it in the future. That was the name of the folder when you downloaded at the time this guide was made (I will try my best to see if it changes at later times). Anyways, double click on that fosev12beta2 folder and you should see a folder, a bunch of.dll files, an HTML document, an application titled foseloader, a readme, and finally a changelog. All you have to do is take all those files (NOT the src folder) and drag them into your Fallout 3 directory (NOT the Data folder, just the folder that has Fallout3.exe and FalloutLauncher.exe).

Once you have done that, you have successfully installed Fallout Script Extender. Now all thats left is to set up your foseloader (which is incredibly easy!!). All of my screens are while running Midhrastic.I can see no instruction to install FOSE, with Fallout 3 when using MO.Do I just drop FOSE into the GOTY folder, given the scripts? There was a suggestion by Youtube video, about MO not do to this, but it focus is SkyrimVery new to MO, Have run mods and managers before, but using MO for first time.Have a CLEAN installl of the game DATA folder backup, have saves so using those mods, for my new MO installWHAT I HAVESteam Fallout 3 GOTY. Well, I don't use body replacers, just not my thing, so I wouldn't notice what you're talking about. The cool thing with Dynamo is that it covers up the horrendous neck seam (with its Ambient Occlusion) that can be seen with body replacers without having to use some automatic neck seam concealer mod. I've used Midrashic in the past and never had any performance issues with it, but it just doesn't look as good as Dynamo. It's even compatible with XFO and FWE apparently.

Allows the AI to take cover, use stimpacks in combat, flee larger distances, etc. It's not a major overhaul like XFO but it gets the job done.

I usually use the Combat-Enhanced Tactics mod by taylorsd to handle AI. I've played with fwe + mmm or foo k + mmm or xfo + mmm nad it still kinda works when you choose the options you need and disable the one you don't want. Of course if the ai agressivity and numbers of enemie are not important to you, then don't use. SO when you say, "don't use fwe nor mmm." cause it's not compatible, ok, but then what to use if want better AI and more enemies than in Vanilla ?Īt this point, they are the only mods to use to make the game harder.įwe, mmm, and even the more outdated xfo are outdated but we have nothing else. There is FOO K too but i don't think it change enemies AI, only add weapons and armors. MMM is the only mod to increase enemies's number. Originally posted by Theokoles:Fwe is the only mod for increasing enemies IA and aggressivity with also XFO, but XFO only focuse on IA and agressivity meanwhile FWE add weapons etc. For example, I often use the back of the Springvale Elementary School as a sort of FPS testing ground because from certain angles, ENBs like Dynamo can drop my FPS from 60 straight into the 40s. Do you use any ENB presets? Or have any recommendations? I've been using Dynamo ENB from New Vegas and while it looks downright gorgeous, the performance hit is pretty huge in some areas. I've been using the tick fix as a replacement.

I know FSR causes crashing on Windows 10. Patches exist but, ime, a game with EVE loaded (even with patches) isn't as stable as a game without. Originally posted by kdodds:EVE has compatibility issues.
