I feel like I have more control of the amount used and don't have doubts about whether I missed any areas of my face. So I emptied all the powder into a Tupperware mini salt shaker (which holds up to two ounces) and shake a small amount into a small bowl, then use the brush to apply.
I could never tell if there was enough powder coming through the brush, so ended up going over my face way too many times and wasting a lot of powder. Only thing I don't like is I'm not fond of the way this brush applicator works, even though the concept is a good idea. This sunscreen powder goes on and looks like any powdered foundation. Have been using this for a couple months now and absolutely love it! So much better than greasy, oily, and smelly sunscreen lotions (I used to avoid sunscreen coverage on my face for those reasons).
